I started seeing Dr Andrew for acupuncture treatment for my sciatica pain which had been bothering me for the past three months. I have taken 5 acupuncture sessions (twice weekly) so far with Dr Andrew and the results have been amazing! I am now a lot more flexible in mobility and have not taken any pain relief medication since I started treatment. (Previously I had a few sessions of physiotherapy but there was no improvement in pain relief). Dr Andrew patiently takes the time to listen, explain the diagnosis and treatment plan. The treatment and care provided by him is brilliant and I so look forward to every session of acupuncture. (I had pain relief after my very first session!) I am so impressed with my experience that I intend to continue maintenance sessions even after my treatment plan. Highly recommended.
It’s a very reliable place with friendly staffs from the reception to doctors. I am still visiting the place for my migraine, which was worse before but due to skilled doctors it’s reduced from 10 to 1. I am thankful to all the team members. I will recommend the place as a best place for the patient of migraines.

I’ve had nothing short of amazing results in 4 weeks from Andrew treating me for Sciatica. Prior to seeing Andrew I had 2 months of Sciatica where I couldn’t go for walks or to the gym. It’s worth noting that I had tried other treatments including Physio for the problem without any noticeable results. Beautiful, caring team. Each time I attend the clinic, in Penrith, I feel so relaxed before my treatment and after 1000 times better. I will start this review by saying I judge my healthcare practitioners HARSH. I have been stung many times by gaslighting, ignorance, and sometimes plain creepiness, so I am super picky about the medical providers I use and very honest. I have a pretty complicated case with my back trauma, auto-immune diseases, and genetic disposition. Adding pregnancy to the mix means I am in desperate need of relief with my chronic pain and not many avenues I can take. I have been to Dr Andrew's team twice now, and have adored my experiences there. My first appointment was for acupuncture and cupping with Dr Adam, and my second was a remedial massage and acupuncture with Dr Andrew. Both visits were respectful, calming, and went at a great pace. Andrew's massage appointment had me walking out of the centre with a completely different gait. The environment of the practice is also very peaceful and modern. I met Dr David too as he was playing receptionist for my first appointment and he was lovely. My next appointment will be with Dr Kent and I have no doubt it will also be a great experience. Worth every penny, and they deserve their great reputation with their Google reviews! Looking forward to seeing some results now as I do more acupuncture sessions.

How do we relieve pain at our clinic?
We can relieve pain with various treatment therapies at our clinic. One of these treatments is Acupuncture, which can be effective for many chronic pain conditions. A number of studies suggest that Acupuncture works particularly well for chronic pain, musculoskeletal issues and often reduces the incidence and severity of tension headaches.
Why can my pain feel worse after treatment?
Our treatments are used to stimulate the body to help it heal faster. It may cause symptoms to become more intense after a treatment session. In most circumstances, these symptoms mean that the treatment is working, and they are a necessary part of the healing process. Your practitioner will be able to guide you on your individual circumstances and adjust treatment if necessary.
What pain can be treated at your clinic?

How many treatment sessions will I need to relieve my pain?
This varies per individual, however, our usual recommendation to get on top of pain is treatment twice a week to start off with. Once the body has started healing, you may only need treatment sessions once a week or each fortnight to maintain those results. From there, you will be advised to adjust your lifestyle so that the pain and underlying causative factors do not cause a relapse of pain. As part of setting out your treatment plan, your practitioner will prescribe the number of treatment sessions that are needed to alleviate your pain and maintain these results.
How long will it take to ease my pain?
In some cases, you may notice a change in the pain you feel almost immediately. In more significant cases, however, it can take up to 3-4 days after treatment commences or multiple treatments at the start of your treatment plan to start feeling any kind of relief. It’s best to always consult with your practitioner about how you are feeling and any observations about your pain.
I have just started treatment and I feel great after my first session. Do I need to keep coming?
Feeling great is a good sign that the treatment protocol is working for you. In most cases at the start, feeling great may only last a few days to a week. By following the treatment sessions prescribed for you, you will get the best health outcomes possible. The last thing we would want is for your symptoms to relapse and for you to experience pain again by ceasing treatment prematurely.
